The Course

FDR Golf Club, the Golf Philly course nearest Center City, was established in 1940 and is named after the country's 32nd President - Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

The 6,004-yard layout provides a fun yet challenging experience for players of all golfing abilities. With spacious fairways and large-sized greens, FDR utilizes the surrounding natural wetlands as well as a canal that runs through the course to provide unique challenges.

FDR is enrolled in Audubon International's Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses to ensure that the course helps to protect our local environment, conserve natural resources, and provide wildlife habitats.

Golf Shop

FDR offers a fully stocked Golf Shop with a wide selection of competitively priced golf equipment and apparel. Our professional staff is there to assist you with retail purchases, as well as finding the right golf clubs for you. We also provide rental clubs and PGA Professional Instruction - just ask for details in the Golf Shop. We gladly accept AMEX, Visa and MasterCard.

The FDR snack bar provides you with a comfortable place to grab a snack before the round, take a quick break in between rounds, or relax and grab a bite to eat after the round and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! You have a variety of options to choose from and plenty of cold beverages to satisfy your thirst. Our friendly staff is there to serve you.
